What is the TitanX?
The TitanX is the combined engineering wizardry of:
- An inert training pistol with a realistic form factor, PLUS
- A realistic, resetting trigger, PLUS
- A laser that is fired when the trigger breaks, PLUS
- The powerful integrated MantisX shooting performance analysis system
Why do these things matter? Let us explain:
- Train like you fight. Our first TitanX models emulate the functional features of the Glock 17, Glock 19, and Glock 45, the most common semi-automatic pistols on the market. You want the same size, grip angle, and feature set of what you use on a regular basis, and TitanX has that. More models are coming soon.
- A realistic trigger enables your practice to create training memory, not training scars. With a virtually identical weight, break, and reset to a stock trigger, your newly acquired skills will translate directly to your actual weapon.
- A visual laser provides instant feedback on your accuracy. The more immediate the feedback, the quicker you learn.
- The MantisX has changed the way the world views dry fire practice. The MantisX provides real-time feedback on shooter technique by analyzing movement patterns throughout the shot. Integrating the MantisX into the TitanX allows shooters to gain all the advantages of data-driven analysis. What does the MantisX integration enable?
No other system in the world gives you detailed, actionable, data-driven feedback on static marksmanship, dynamic shooting, holster draw, trigger control, reload capability, and much more.
Connecting the TitanX laser training pistol to the MantisX Pistol/Rifle app unlocks over 40 drills and 10 courses for guided training. Our courses are designed to build different skills over time and challenge shooters to develop and maintain a high level of skill.
The standard drills provide feedback on trigger control, ensuring proper technique throughout the shot process for minimal movement while pressing the trigger. Just like with MantisX the shooter receives a score, coaching, and a replay-able trace of the muzzle path during the shot.
Dynamic shooting isn’t just for BlackbeardX anymore. Each dynamic drill is now available for TitanX. Dynamic drills can help improve on multi-target engagements, analyzing the economy of motion during target transitions across three dimensions: transition, over travel, and delay on target, for a total efficiency score. Use the trace view to replay each shot and watch each dimension in color coded action, or swipe to the phase view for a time based view.
Dynamic shooting doesn’t stop at multi-target transitions. Now you can see rapid fire drills on single targets with shot timer and continuous trace replay to see consistency of execution at speed. Break down what happened shot for shot and hone in on the individual parts that need to be improved for optimal execution.
The Holster Draw Analysis drill from our X10 Elite unit gives insight into the execution of each phase of the draw. This breakdown can’t be seen in any other training and helps to identify trends of inconsistent and/or slow phases.
A multi-shot version of Holster Draw Analysis is exclusively available to TitanX and shows a unique combination view of analytics for draw to first shot phase times and trigger press analysis of follow up shots.
When training in conjunction with the MantisX app, the magazine detection switch on the TitanX allows users to set magazine capacity for select drills, or enter two TitanX-exclusive drills. TitanX has a Magazine Exchange Analysis* to break down the exchange by phases to reveal trends of inconsistent or slow phase. The 1R1 drill is available as a dynamic drill to work on exchange speed and efficient re-engagement of the target.

What comes in the box?
The TitanX is available in various models that closely represent popular firearms on the market. Each TitanX comes in a custom EVA carry case with 2 weighted mags for reload training, and is optic-ready with a RMR/Shield RMS/RMSc footprint. The red laser emitted from the pistol is compatible with Mantis Laser Academy (sold separately) as well as many other laser training systems. As stated previously, the TitanX is also compatible with the powerful MantisX app for tracking your progress.
TitanX models match the functional features of a Glock, with additional models matching HK, Sig Sauer, and Walther coming soon. Many more are in development, and you can let us know what other models you'd like to see.

A: Absolutely, the TitanX is designed to benefit shooters at every skill level, from novice to expert. Using a dry fire laser training pistol can improve and solidify fundamental skills which then transfers to live fire.
Q: Are there recommended accessories or software to enhance TitanX training?
A: TitanX works with the free MantisX Pistol/Rifle app, and many other simulation products. We also recommend Mantis Laser Academy to enhance your TitanX training, available for individual purchase as a full product or a stand alone app. TitanX also works with many other simulation products.
Q: What are the benefits of training with a laser pistol like TitanX?
A: TitanX emulates popular firearms in appearance and operation, and is a standalone inert device designed explicitly for dry fire laser training. It emits a visible laser beam upon trigger pull without having to rack the slide between each trigger pull. This allows practice of shooting fundamentals, sight alignment, and trigger control in a manner akin to live fire.
