In the world of firearms training, staying ahead means continuously pushing your skills to new heights. We are excited to announce three new app features to our Pistol/Rifle App: CCW Elite Course, Integrated Electronic Leveling Feature, and Upgrades to our X10's RecoilMeter.
This Elite course focuses on sharpening the essential skills required for concealed carry, demanding precision, speed, and composure. To fully participate, you’ll need a holster, an extra magazine, and a concealment garment. While optional, dummy rounds and TRT inserts can be beneficial for added training value. Throughout the course, you’ll engage in drills that emphasize:
With a heavy emphasis on CCW proficiency, you’ll complete a minimum of 250 holster draws before finishing the course. This intense repetition ensures that your draw becomes second nature—fast, fluid, and instinctive.
If you're aiming for a professional standard of a 1.5-second draw to first shot, this course will push you toward that goal. Additionally, for those looking to refine their Hostage Rescue drills, be prepared—there’s zero tolerance for missed shots. This course isn’t just about speed; it’s about accuracy under pressure.
Precision is everything, and with the new Audio/Visual Cant Leveling Feature, shooters can fine-tune their firearm control. This feature allows you to set audio and visual cues that guide your desired cant, helping you maintain proper firearm alignment.
Shooters can customize their cant settings and see real-time adjustments through a clear interface. Once a drill is running, the live screen displays pitch and cant. If the firearm moves outside of the set cant zone, the system alerts the user with a red screen and/or an audio beep until the proper positioning is restored.
Since the audio cue plays from any tab within a running session, shooters can maintain situational awareness while receiving corrective feedback, ensuring they build consistent and repeatable habits. This feature integrates with both live and dry fire sessions, making it a valuable tool for refining technique in any environment.
For shooters using the Mantis X10 Elite, the Recoilmeter Drill has been upgraded to provide an in-depth analysis of how a firearm behaves after each shot. Rather than just tracking the gun's recoil, this tool allows shooters to assess their response to recoil, helping them improve control and recovery.
By breaking down key metrics, shooters can now compare different stance and grip techniques or evaluate the impact of weapon-mounted accessories like lights and compensators.
Recovery Time – Measures the time it takes for the firearm to stabilize back to the original point of aim after a shot.
Muzzle Rise – Captures the peak angular rise of the firearm post-shot.
Recoil Angle – Tracks the movement angle (left or right) as the gun recoils upward.
Recoil Width – Shows the width of the recoil pattern, helping shooters understand lateral movement.
With a redesigned user interface, each of these dimensions can be analyzed in greater detail. The updated drill also allows for auto-repeat functionality if no shot is detected for 10 seconds, making it easier to track progress across multiple firing sessions.
Whether you’re pushing your limits in the Concealed Carry Elite Course or refining your technique with MantisX’s advanced Electronic Leveling and Recoilmeter Drill, these tools provide valuable insights and challenges.
Refine your accuracy, improve your response times, and develop the skills needed to perform at an elite level. Are you ready to take on the challenge?
