Learn more about MantisX History Screens

Mantis Training History is more than proving those high shot scores that you have been bragging about. The History tab is a way to review prior sessions and compare how you have done in the past to how you are currently doing now in your training.

The History tab has a filter button at the top of the screen which can be used to filter the past session list, graphs and charts on that tab.If your history doesn’t look right, be sure that the correct user profile is selected on the Settings tab.

Hold yourself accountable with your History Training Streak illustrated by the yellow bar graph for the current filtered view. Set the Training Goal in the Training Schedule (Settings Tab) for reminder notifications to keep you shooting every week. The graph illustrates the days you trained and met your goal, the days you fell short or didn’t train at all.

Set a Filter

Change the Training Streak timeframe and date filter by tapping on the filter views listed across the top (1D  7D  2W  1M  3M  6M  12M  ALL) D=day, W=week, M=Month.

The red Filters button on the top right opens the filter menu, choose one or multiple filters then Back arrow to view the filtered results. Only sessions that meet each of your selected criteria will be visible.

Focus the view of your training data according to the following filters:

  • Filter by Note

  • Gun type

  • Firearm

  • Shooting hand

  • Shot detection mode

  • Drill

  • Course

  • Time Range

The Firearm filter displays the list of firearms listed in your Arsenal (created on the Settings tab). The History is where the Arsenal details come into range. Review and compare how you shoot with any of your firearms. There is always at least one that we shoot better with and that one may surprise you.

Filter your history of the completed drills and courses. Use this filter option to see just how much you have improved on any particular training drill.

The Reset Filter button restores all filters to their default settings. By default, the Time Range shows the past 12 months. This button is great during troubleshooting, because sometimes the session list doesn’t look right because of a previously set filter.

Completed Sessions

Completed Sessions

Your training history may be reviewed when the app is connected or when not in use with the MantisX sensor.

Each completed session in your history will state the following on the easy-to-use History tab:

  • Date and Time

  • Fire Type (Live, Dry, CO2)

  • Firearm as listed in the arsenal

  • Average Score & Average Time

  • and your Notes entered for that session

  • Course # if part of course history

And remember those filters at the top, they will determine the sessions in the history view. Tap that red Filter button and choose which sessions you want to review or reset filter to show your history for the last 12 months.

Have a low score?

Accidental or just a bad day and want to remove those embarrassing session scores, no problem.

Deleting Sessions in MantisX App

Swiping left or right will delete an individual session from the history list. The session segment will turn green for a few seconds with an Undo button. Tap Undo within that time to restore the session to the history list.

Take care not to not swipe repeatedly or too quickly, or additional sessions may be deleted. And remember if you delete a session that it can change your Training Streak for the number of shots on those training days. But let’s be honest we all have those bad shots that keep us humble and drive us to do more training, so don’t delete them all. Use your Training History and those low scores to drive you to keep training.

Train Smart and Enjoy the Journey!
